On 24. November 2023 Adriatica Aerospace Association signed the agreement (MoU) of cooperation with the China Deep Space Exploration Laboratory (DSEL) on the International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). The Laboratory was co-established in 2022 by the China National Space Administration (CNSA), Anhui Province and the University of Science and Technology of China. The laboratory is an important step toward implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and strengthening the China’s strategic strength in science and technology, with emphases on strengthening international cooperation in aerospace development. It is expected to carry out science and technology research focusing on major national projects in the field of deep space exploration.

Signing the cooperation agreement A3 is one of the early partners of DSEL which gives additional motivation for the advancement of space exploration both in Croatia and China. One behalf of A3 the signatory was Prof. Slobodan Danko Bosanac, President of A3, and on behalf DSEL was Prof. Guan Feng, Executive Director General of DSEL.

Prof. Bosanac was welcomed at the headquarters of the Beijing branch of DSEL

and in the hall where discussion on the cooperation was conducted

and the agreement signed.

As the memento for the occasion A3 was presented by the high-quality replica of the China’s first Moon rover.

Sample of Moon’s soil brought back in the Chang 5 mission was shown (dark circle). It is expected that a sample shall be sent to the Ruđer Bošković Institute for the chemical analysis.

After the ceremony, and on the way to the hotel, gazing at the Moon because it looked much closer now.
