Article 11
Any natural or legal person may become a member of the Association, as determined by the Board of Directors.
Membership in the association is regular, associated, donor, and honorary.
Regular members may be scientific and professional institutions, associations, and other legal entities (hereinafter: legal entities) that wish to actively participate in the work of the Association and accept the Statute of the Association.
Associated members may be any natural or legal persons who are not directly active in the association but support its work by promoting its fundamental values.
Donor members may be any natural or legal persons who support the work of the Association through financial or technical donations. Their status is determined separately by the Assembly.
Honorary members of the Association may be legal and natural persons particularly distinguished for their work and development of the Association or for their significant contribution to the development of the aerospace sector.
Article 12
Membership in the association is voluntary.
The decision on admission to regular membership is made by the Board of Directors based on an application, request, or written request of the person wishing to become a member of the Association.
The decision on admission to associated membership is made by the Board of Directors based on an application, request, or written request of the person wishing to become a member of the Association.
The decision to declare a member as a donor is made by the Board of Directors.
The decision of the Board of Directors must be made no later than three months from the receipt of the application, request, or written request of the person wishing to become a member of the Association.
The decision to appoint an honorary member is made by the Assembly of the Association upon proposal by the Board of Directors.
The Association keeps a register of its members, managed by the Secretary of the Association.
The list of members is kept electronically and includes information such as the name or personal name, personal identification number (OIB), date of establishment or birth, date of joining the association, membership category, and date of termination of membership in the association.
The list of members must always be available for inspection by all members and competent authorities upon request.
Article 13
An objection to the decision of the Board of Directors on admission or non-admission to membership shall be submitted to the Assembly of the Association within 8 days from the date when the applicant or proposer was informed of the decision of the Board of Directors.
The Assembly decides on the objection at its next meeting. The decision of the Assembly is final.
Article 14
Regular members of the Association pay an annual membership fee regardless of the time of year they join.
The decision on the amount of the annual membership fee is made by the Board of Directors.
Regular members who regularly pay their membership fee have the right to vote in the bodies of the Association.
An associated member who regularly pays the membership fee has the rights and obligations of a regular member, except the right to vote and to be elected to the bodies of the Association.
An honorary member has the rights and obligations of a regular member, except the right to vote and to be elected to the bodies of the Association, and is not obliged to pay membership fees.
Article 15
The rights of regular members of the Association include:
participation in determining common policies and programs of the Association,
deciding on the resources and assets of the Association and other matters determined by this Statute and other acts of the Association,
negotiating and collaborating among themselves to achieve common goals,
participating in activities of common interest,
implementing jointly agreed activities,
electing and being elected to the bodies of the Association, and the right to vote,
being regularly and timely informed about the work of the Association and its bodies and the financial management of the Association,
The obligations of members of the Adriatic Aerospace Association are:
regular payment of the annual membership fee within the deadlines set by the Board of Directors,
upholding and promoting the reputation of the Association,
complying with the provisions of the Statute and other acts of the Association.
Article 16
Membership in the association terminates:

Any member may resign from membership in the association at any time, freely and at their discretion, by submitting their written and certified statement of resignation from membership in the Association to the address of the Association’s headquarters.
A member is considered to have resigned from membership at the moment when their written and certified statement from paragraph 1 of this Article is received in the office of the Association.
Article 18
A member may be expelled:
if they do not pay the membership fee in the manner and within the deadlines determined by the Board of Directors,
if they violate the provisions of this Statute, the Work Program, and other general acts of the Association,
if their actions damage their reputation and/or the reputation of the Association, its bodies, or other members of the Association.
The decision on expulsion from membership is made by the Board of Directors.
A dissatisfied member may lodge an appeal to the Assembly of the Association within 30 days from the date of receipt of the written decision on expulsion.
During the appeal procedure, all rights and obligations of the member against whom the decision on expulsion from membership has been made shall be suspended.
The decision of the Assembly of the Association on expulsion from membership is final.
Article 19
The Association may award recognitions and praise to its members, individuals, and legal entities for outstanding activities and special contributions to the work of the Association.
Upon proposal by the Board of Directors, the Assembly may award recognitions to individual legal or natural persons for exceptional contributions to the achievement of the goals and activities of the Association.
Article 20
The Association may join associations of associations and international associations, networks, coordinations, and other forms of association.
The decision on joining associations is made by the Assembly, upon proposal by the Board of Directors.
