We are pleased to invite you to a webinar entitled: “Review of technology trends in New Space missions using a patent analytics approach” that will be delivered by Alessandro Golkar, Associate Professor and Technology Development Director at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech).

In this lecture the New Space technology trends will be analyzed, using a patent analytics approach. The main objective is to draw a comprehensive picture of technology trends in New Space and to discuss potential scenarios for further development of this novel type of missions. Alternative definitions will be considered and proposed as a synthesis of the ongoing debate in the New Space field.
About the Speaker:
Space Systems Engineer, Alessandro Golkar is an Associate Professor and Technology Development Director at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). From 2017 to 2019, Alessandro Golkar served as the Vice President Concurrent Engineering and a Member of the Leadership Team of Technology Planning and Roadmapping at the Airbus Corporate Technology Office (CTO) in Toulouse, France. Before Airbus, he served as the Interim Director of the Skoltech Space Center. His research is focused on novel approaches to complex system architecture challenges, and research and demonstration of novel spacecraft technologies.
The webinar is organised by Adriatic Aerospace Association, A3 – an association of research institutions and high technology firms with the aim to support space research and development projects in Croatia and the Adriatic region.
