Research and growth in the areas of material physics, telecommunication, sensors, propulsion, aerodynamics, transport, artificial intelligence and machine learning etc., alongside with the use in aeronautical and Space industry, find their application in products of dual purpose and wide consumption (secondary application). Republic of Croatia (RH) is relatively poorly represented in those areas considering its potentials and the possibilities it possesses. The series of Perun satellites should spearhead development of satellite program for the Earth Observation (RH and the region) with possible expansion into scientific experiments and testing of new technologies. The first satellite would test the basic elements for its regular operation: stabilization and transmission of images. Satellite could carry a payload that is yet to be determined, verified and confirmed in the space. Such engineers and scientists will not only learn the theory of space engineering but will get a welth of hands-on experience.
