Cooperation agreement with Deep Space Exploration Laboratory

On 24. November 2023 Adriatica Aerospace Association signed the agreement (MoU) of cooperation with the China Deep Space Exploration Laboratory (DSEL) on the International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). The Laboratory was co-established in 2022 by the China National Space Administration (CNSA), Anhui Province and the University of Science and Technology of China. The laboratory is an important step toward implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and strengthening the China’s strategic strength in science and technology, with emphases on strengthening international cooperation in aerospace development. It is expected to carry out science and technology research focusing on major national projects in the field of deep space exploration.

Signing the cooperation agreement A3 is one of the early partners of DSEL which gives additional motivation for the advancement of space exploration both in Croatia and China. One behalf of A3 the signatory was Prof. Slobodan Danko Bosanac, President of A3, and on behalf DSEL was Prof. Guan Feng, Executive Director General of DSEL.

Prof. Bosanac was welcomed at the headquarters of the Beijing branch of DSEL

A3 participated in the MYLAKE Aerospace Information Industry International Ecosystem Event 2023 which took place on 20-21 November in Chongqing, China, the motto of which was “One Starry Sky, One Shared Future”. At the invitation of the organisers, President Slobodan Danko Bosanac represented A3.

The main backbone of the gathering was to highlight the need for global efforts to coordinate the aerospace information industry with enhanced trust and synergy between all parties. The event brought together more than 1,000 representatives of Chinese local governments, global enterprises in the aero-space information industry chain and research institutions from home and abroad.

The International Alliance of Aerospace Information Industry has been established, consisting of global universities, enterprises, investment organizations and research institutions and seeks to build a coordination platform within the industry. Together, ten investment institutions launched a community fund of 100 billion yuan (about 14.03 million yuan) 100 billion yuan (about 14.03 billion US dollars). The Fund will invest in aviation information infrastructure and key enterprises.

At the industrial talent cultivation round table, Slobodan Bosanac spoke on the topic of New Space and Innovative Industry, especially emphasising on the example of Croatia how a small country can fit into large projects such as going to the moon and further into deep space.
